Business Law

Business or Commercial Law is the branch of private law that regulates entrepreneurs’ set of rules, the articles of association and their activity with the company. It governs, therefore, both the economic activity and professional organization of entrepreneurs. In a classic definition by Sánchez Calero, Business Law is “the part of private law made up of a set of legal rules concerning entrepreneurs and the actions that stem from the exercise of their economic activity.”

Civil Law

Criminal Law

Objectively, Criminal Law is the set of state rules governing crime and its legal consequences: sentence, criminal charges and civil responsability. Subjectively, it is the right of the State to establish penal regulations and to apply them when requirements stated in these rules are met.

Labour Law

Labour Law that stems from Civil Law to become an autonomous discipline as from the XIX Century, is the branch of the legal system that governs the regulation of professional services rendered by   employees working for a salary in a system of subordination. Labour Law addresses the study of individual labour relationships – work contracts – of collective relationships established within the working environment – union law – as well as other tangible or work-related aspects that equally represent an undoubted practical relevance such as the procedural, administrative sphere – labour inspections and Social Security or risk prevention at work – safety and health at work.
